LA PORTICELLA
HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION
La Porticella is the entrance to the smaller historical center of Montefiascone, thus it is given the name from the surrounding neighborhood. On the side of the doorway facing the village, just above the arch, is placed a small relief depicting The Madonna, created by Maldini-Sante in 2002. A little further north, entering through Via Trento, it is possible to visit the most characteristic zone of the old city, the guardian of history and ancient traditions.
